Starting Fresh: New Goals & New Blog

Hey! Happy Spring (well, almost anyway). If you've been on my social media sites recently, you'll have noticed a new logo, some re-branding and a shift in some of the content. I figured it was time to give you an official update, so here it is.

I started blogging to share my love of fashion and beauty with everyone. After almost a year of primarily fashion blogging, I realized that I was starting to feel burned out. I was constantly shopping online, ordering clothes, shoes, and more and it started to feel like too much of a job. I also felt getting overwhelmed with the constant cycle of shopping, shooting and posting/ linking items. I felt like I was missing too much time with my daughter & husband and I just wasn't that happy anymore. I knew that I needed to make a change, but I didn't want to walk away from blogging.

I started digging deep and thinking about the blog posts that were most enjoyable for me to write. As much as I love staying home with my daughter, I miss working with my skincare clients and helping them achieve their goals. I went into nursing not only to take care of sick patients, but to help patients find wellness and live their best life. I also ran some analytics on my site, and realized that surprisingly my most popular content was in beauty and skincare. Which really shouldn't have been that surprising to me because of my professional background.

So I decided to combine my love of skincare & wellness with my love of blogging, and a new blog was born. While I'll be focusing more on beauty and wellness topics, I'll continue to incorporate fashion a little bit (I'll link items when I can!) because it will always be a part of my life.

I'm really excited to share this new blog platform with you all - I've got some great posts coming up featuring products that will help you look and feel your best. Thank you so much for continuing to support me and this blog - it means more than you can ever know.
